A little light glowing in the dark is a beautiful thing.
So is blue in the window, and a smiling moon.
My work draws from the stoicism of our everyday surroundings and the lights that glow in the midst. Through painting, I explore the quiet and emotive presence of light and its ability to shape atmosphere and memory in dark times.

YT Tommy Lee studied Visual Communication, majoring in Illustration. After more than a decade working primarily in digital media, she is now expanding her practice through traditional mediums. Each medium informs and enriches different aspects of her creative work.
