ARTIST STATEMENT
I collect gentle moments from my walks and observe them further in the studio. My work draws from the stoicism of our everyday surroundings and the lights that glow in the midst. In my practice, I’m interested in the quiet resilience and emotive qualities of light and its ability to shape atmosphere and memory in dark times.

YT Tommy Lee studied Visual Communication, majoring in Illustration. After more than a decade working primarily in digital media, she is now expanding her practice through traditional mediums. Each medium informs and enriches different aspects of her creative work.
